La lista de nominados estaba liderada por The Weeknd y Roddy Ricch con ocho cada uno, incluso, ambos están cabeza a cabeza para llegar a ser el "Artista del Año".
Pero ninguno de los dos tuvo el placer de llevarse este galardón a casa y fue Taylor Swift quien se alzó con la estatuilla. Ya tiene 6 premios "Artista del Año", 5 "Artista femenina favorita" y 2 "Video musical favorito". Lo que la convierte en la artista más premiada en las tres categorías y la más premiada en general con 32 premios.
